Over 150 guests enjoyed our annual Founders' Day on May 8. Our senior supporters were able to witness our school in action and enjoy a lunch prepared by our Ladies Auxiliary.

On May 13 our Student Leadership Team will be hosting a mission assembly. They have designated May as mission month and each week they focus on a different part of the world.

Monday, May 19 is Victoria Day and no school for the students.
- A group of senior students have organized a "No-smoke Week" from May 26 to May 30 that will include several anti-smoking displays in the school and presentations to students encouraging them to avoid or quit smoking..

The Student Leadership Team is hosting the annual Sports Banquet on Friday, June 6.

The final assembly of the year will take place on Monday morning, June 9.

The final instructional day is Thursday, June 12.

Friday June 13 is student exam preparation day when students can stay home. The teachers will be serving breakfast for the grade 12 students.

June 16 to 20 is exam week. Check for the schedule on the Student Life page, Exam Schedule
Final report cards can be picked up from school on Thursday morning, June 26. Reports not picked up will be mailed home.
Looking ahead...
Summer and New School Year

The school office will be closed from July 1 until the middle of August. We will be checking the office e-mail from time to time, so questions can be sent to office@guidodebres.org .

Information packages will be mailed to parents with children attending school next year during the week of August 18.

We are hosting an Open House for students new to the school on Thursday, August 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The first day of the 2008-09 school year is Tuesday, September 2.

There will be an Open House for parents with children in grade 9 on Wednesday evening, September 10 starting at 8:00 p.m.

The Guido Golf tournament will be held on Saturday, September 13.

The Commencement for the class of 2008 will take place on Saturday, September 27 starting at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton Place.
